So many gates fail due to poor installation or a lack of ongoing maintenance. Considering the cost of your gate - much like your car - it is recommended that your installation be serviced annually to keep it running smoothly and reduce the wear and tear that a misaligned gate or motor will be subject to.
GMG offer annual service checks and routine battery servicing to ensure you don't get caught in the rain.

Roger Automation offers Italian design and manufacture which is ahead of the curve in the gate motor industry. Brushless motors (like in modern battery tools) and digital control (meaning faster but more efficient operations) are just a couple of the design elements that will give you the same quite, fast operating outcomes irrespective of the weather.

Roger Automation motors will open your gate at 400mm/sec. Most others top out at 250mm/sec.
Mains power is the best option, particularly if you have reliable power to your property. We can offer both 240V mains voltage or 24V extra low voltage feeds to your motor.
The extra low voltage option utilises a transformer mounted on a wall, or in a shed that simply plugs into a power point. The maximum distance from a power point to the gate motor is aobut 50m. The wire that will run from the transformer to the motor is only 24V, so does not have to be buried like mains power does.
Where mains is not an option, solar is a great alternative, but will cost more in the long run as batteries are under the pump in our environment and will only last 2-3 years under normal operating conditions.
GMG build solar power options that are better suited to the territory environment and based on the specific needs of your gate. In a monsoon, our batteries still receive charge, where others are depleting, because the PV panels are not generating the necessary voltage output. We use Victron charge controllers and monocrystalline panels and strong reinforced enclosures to store the batteries and charging components.
GMG tested the Remootio 3 wifi controller for 2 years on their own gate before selling and installing the first one for a customer.
Remootio is based on a free app which is required for each user. Each device can store 20 users, or up to 100 with an in-app upgrade, all of which can be customised to suit your needs.
They are simple and a cost effective way to operate your gate from anywhere (as long as you are connected to the internet). E.G. you can let a tradesperson or the parcel delivery service in without being there.
If you do not have internet at the gate, they also operate using bluetooth direct from your smart phone - so they only work within a short range from your gate just like a normal remote control (Your existing remotes will continue to work).
The other benefit? You will never leave home without a 'remote', the kids won't lose them... their 'remote' will never be more than a arm's length away and there is no ongoing costs.
Remootio devices enable automations such as opening and closing the gates at certain times of day, alerting you if your gate has been left open and automatically open the gate as you drive towards your property.
