So many gates fail due to poor installation or a lack of ongoing maintenance. We offer repairs and maintenance to all brands of motor, offer new automation installations, design, set out and internet/wifi control.
Considering the cost of your gate - much like your car, it is recommended that your installation be serviced annually to keep it running. GMG offer annual service checks and routine battery servicing to ensure you don't get caught in the rain.

We just aim to get your gate working how you want or expect it to work. We are a small team that can offer client centric service, and you will deal direct with the owners.
Whilst GMG will repair and maintain any brand of motor, Roger Automation is the choice GMG goes to, to get your gate going. Roger Automation offers Italian design and manufacture, brushless motors and digital control (meaning faster but more efficient operations) and exceptional technical support. Roger Automation motors will open your gate at 400mm/sec at top speed.
Mains power is the best option, particularly if you have reliable power to your property. We can offer both 240V mains voltage or 24V extra low voltage feeds to your motor.
Where mains is not an option, solar is a great alternative, but will cost more in the long run as batteries are under the pump in our environment and will only last 2-3 years under normal operating conditions.
GMG build solar power options that are better suited to the territory environment and based on the specific needs of your gate. In a monsoon, our batteries still receive charge, where others are depleting because the PV panels are not generating the necessary voltage output. We use Victron charge controllers and monocrystalline panels and strong reinforced enclosures to store the batteries and charging components.
GMG tested the Remootio 3 wifi controller for 2 years on their own gate before selling and installing the first one for a customer. The free remootio app is required for each user. Each device can store 20 users, all of which can be customised to suit your needs.
They are simple and a cost effective way to operate your gate from anywhere (as long as you are connected to the internet). E.G. you can let a tradesperson in, or the parcel delivery service without being there.
They also operate using bluetooth direct from your smart phone - so they only work within a short range from your gate. (Your existing remotes will continue to work).
The other benefit? You will never leave home without a 'remote', the kids won't lose them... their 'remote' will never be more than a arm's length away and there is no ongoing costs.
Remootio devices enable automations such as opening and closing the gates at certain times of day, alerting you if your gate has been left open and automatically open the gate as you drive towards your property.
